1. Open the hood of your car.
2. Locate the headlight assembly that needs the bulb replaced.
3. Turn the plastic retaining ring on the back of the headlight assembly counterclockwise to remove it.
4. Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.
5. Carefully insert the new bulb into the socket, making sure that it is properly seated.
6. Replace the plastic retaining ring and turn it clockwise until it is snug.
7. Close the hood of your car.
Here are some additional tips for changing a headlight bulb on a 1995 Chevy Lumina:
* Make sure that you have the correct bulb for your car.
* Be careful not to touch the glass part of the new bulb with your fingers, as this can cause the bulb to fail prematurely.
* If you are having difficulty removing the plastic retaining ring, you may need to use a flat-head screwdriver to pry it off.
