How do you remove the battery from a 1993 Yamaha 250 timberwolf?

1. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

2. Locate the battery. The battery is located under the seat.

3. Remove the seat. To remove the seat, pull up on the back of the seat and slide it forward.

4. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Use a wrench to loosen the nut on the negative battery cable. Then, disconnect the cable by pulling it off of the battery terminal.

5. Disconnect the positive battery cable. Use a wrench to loosen the nut on the positive battery cable. Then, disconnect the cable by pulling it off of the battery terminal.

6. Remove the battery. Lift the battery out of the battery compartment.

7. Install the new battery. Place the new battery into the battery compartment.

8. Connect the positive battery cable. Connect the positive battery cable to the positive battery terminal. Then, tighten the nut on the battery cable.

9. Connect the negative battery cable. Connect the negative battery cable to the negative battery terminal. Then, tighten the nut on the battery cable.

10. Replace the seat. Slide the seat forward and then push down on the back of the seat to lock it into place.
