1. Run engine until reaching normal operating temperature.
2. Shut engine off and locate power valve.
3. Remove the cap to the cable adjuster of the power valve.
4. Turn the knurled adjuster counterclockwise to increase power valve opening, and clockwise to decrease opening.
5. Recheck and adjust the valve clearance at the pushrods while adjusting the power valve and the throttle cables according to the specifications listed in your owner's manual.
6. Replace the cap on the power valve, ensure all components are installed properly, and restart engine to check for proper operation of power valve.
