1. Disconnect the spark plug wire. This is a safety measure to prevent the engine from starting while you are working on it.
2. Remove the air cleaner cover and carburetor assembly. This will give you access to the throttle cable.
3. Disconnect the throttle cable from the carburetor and the throttle lever.
4. Remove the old throttle cable from the tractor.
5. Install the new throttle cable by reversing the steps above.
6. Reconnect the spark plug wire, air cleaner cover, and carburetor assembly.
7. Start the engine and test the throttle cable to make sure it is working properly.
