1. Locate the oil drain plug on the bottom of the engine. It is typically a 17mm bolt with a copper or aluminum washer.

2. Place an oil drain pan under the drain plug.

3. Use a wrench to loosen the drain plug.

4. Allow the oil to drain completely into the drain pan.

5. Replace the drain plug with a new copper or aluminum washer.

6. Tighten the drain plug securely.
