Step 2: Open the fuel drain valve. This is usually located on the bottom of the carburetor, near the fuel line.
Step 3: Place a gas container underneath the drain valve to catch the fuel.
Step 4: Open the fuel petcock. This is usually located on the side of the fuel tank.
Step 5: Allow the fuel to drain completely from the tank. This may take a few minutes.
Step 6: Close the fuel valve.
Step 7: Close the fuel drain valve.
