How do you change oil on a Suzuki JR 80 dirt bike?

To change the oil on a Suzuki JR 80 dirt bike, you will need the following tools and materials:

- New oil filter (OEM part number 11410-21B00)

- New oil (SAE 10W-40, API SG or higher, JASO MA)

- Oil drain pan

- Funnel

- Wrench

- Rags

- Gloves

NOTE: It is recommended that you perform this procedure when the engine is warm, as the oil will drain more easily.

1. Prepare the bike.

- Turn off the engine and let it cool slightly.

- Place the bike on a level surface.

- Position the oil drain pan under the engine, directly below the oil drain plug.

- Remove the oil drain plug using a wrench.

- Allow the oil to drain completely into the pan.

2. Replace the oil filter.

- Locate the oil filter on the right side of the engine, near the top.

- Remove the oil filter using a wrench.

- Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.

- Screw the new oil filter into place until it is snug.

- Do not overtighten the oil filter.

3. Replace the oil drain plug.

- Once the oil has drained completely, replace the oil drain plug.

- Tighten the oil drain plug securely.

4. Add new oil.

- Use a funnel to add new oil to the engine.

- Refer to the owner's manual for the recommended oil capacity.

- Check the oil level using the dipstick.

- The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.

5. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.

- This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine.

6. Recheck the oil level and adjust as necessary.

- The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.

7. Dispose of the old oil and filter properly.

- Old oil and filters are considered hazardous waste and should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
