1. Locate the oil pan underneath the truck. It is a metal pan that covers the bottom of the engine.
2. The oil drain plug is located on the bottom of the oil pan, towards the rear of the truck. It is usually a 17mm bolt.
3. Place an oil drain pan under the oil drain plug to catch the oil.
4. Use a wrench to loosen the oil drain plug. Be careful not to drop the bolt into the oil pan.
5. Allow the oil to drain completely from the oil pan. This may take a few minutes.
6. Once the oil has drained, replace the oil drain plug. Tighten the plug until it is snug.
7. Add new oil to the engine through the oil fill cap. The oil fill cap is located on the top of the engine, towards the front of the truck.
8. Use the dipstick to check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.
