- The primary clutch is located on the left side of the engine.
- It consists of a housing, clutch basket, pressure plate, clutch fibers, and steel plates.
- The clutch basket is connected to the engine crankshaft and the pressure plate is connected to the transmission input shaft.
- When the clutch lever is pulled in, the pressure plate is disengaged from the clutch fibers and the transmission is disconnected from the engine.
Secondary Clutch:
- The secondary clutch is located on the rear axle.
- It consists of a cover, clutch bell, spider assembly, clutch shoes, and return springs.
- The clutch bell is connected to the rear wheel and the spider assembly is connected to the transmission output shaft.
-The clutch shoes are engaged with the clutch bell when the engine is running and the transmission is in gear.
