How do you wire an ignition switch for a Yamaha warrior?

To wire an ignition switch for a Yamaha warrior, you will need the following:

Tools:

- Wire strippers

- Crimpers

- Pliers

- Screwdriver

- Multimeter

Materials:

- Ignition switch

- Wire connectors (male and female)

- 18-gauge wire

- Heat shrink tubing

Instructions:

1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery to ensure that there is no power.

2. Locate the old ignition switch. It will be mounted on the right handlebar of the ATV.

3. Remove the old ignition switch by removing the screws holding it in place.

4. Disconnect the wires from the old ignition switch. Make note of which wire went to which terminal on the ignition switch.

5. Install the new ignition switch by mounting it in the same location as the old ignition switch.

6. Connect the wires to the new ignition switch. Make sure that the wires are connected to the same terminals as they were on the old ignition switch.

7. Test the ignition switch by turning the key to the "ON" position. The lights and other electrical components should turn on.

8. Apply heat shrink tubing to all of the connections and use a heat gun to shrink the tubing in place.

9. Reconnect the negative terminal on the battery.

Your ignition switch is now installed.
