How do you change the oil on a 07 suzuki z400?

Materials Needed:

- New oil filter

- New crush washer

- Oil drain pan

- Funnel

- Wrench

- Oil (1.25 quarts)

Instructions:

1. Warm up the engine for a few minutes to thin the oil.

2. Turn off the engine and let it cool down for a few minutes.

3. Place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug, which is located on the bottom of the engine.

4. Use the wrench to loosen and remove the oil drain plug. Be careful not to drop the crush washer.

5. Allow the oil to drain completely into the pan.

6. Replace the crush washer on the oil drain plug and reinstall the plug.

7. Remove the oil filter, which is located near the top of the engine. Use the wrench to loosen and remove the oil filter. Be careful not to spill any oil.

8. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.

9. Screw the new oil filter onto the engine until it is snug. Do not overtighten.

10. Place the funnel in the oil fill hole, which is located on the top of the engine.

11. Add the new oil to the engine. Refer to the owner's manual for the correct amount of oil.

12. Check the oil level using the dipstick. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.

13. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.

14. Check the oil level again. Add more oil if necessary.
