Locate the VIN plate, usually found on the steering head or frame near the handlebars.
Write down the full VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) from the plate.
Contact an authorized Yamaha dealership or motorcycle parts store and provide them the VIN number. They should be able to give you the color code, paint name, or paint number.
Some motorcycle retailers may also have online or printed paint code references that you can access with the VIN number.
If you want to find the paint name or number without reaching out to a dealer, you can sometimes locate color information on the inside of a fairing, under the seat, or in other concealed locations on the bike. However, this is not always the case and may vary by model and year.
Remember that color codes may change slightly between different model and production years, so it's best to confirm with an authorized source to get the most accurate information.
