- Funnel
- Wrench or socket set
- Oil filter wrench

Steps:
1. Prepare the Motorcycle: Park the motorcycle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down completely to avoid burns. Engage the parking brake and put the motorcycle in neutral gear.
2. Locate the Oil Drain Plug: The oil drain plug is usually located at the bottom of the oil tank or oil pan. It's typically a 17mm or 19mm bolt.
3. Place the Oil Drain Pan: Position the oil drain pan directly beneath the oil drain plug to catch the old oil.
4. Remove the Oil Drain Plug: Use the appropriate wrench or socket to loosen and remove the oil drain plug. Be careful as the oil may be hot. Allow all the old oil to drain into the pan.
5. Replace the Oil Drain Plug: Once the oil has drained completely, reinstall the oil drain plug and tighten it securely.
6. Locate the Oil Filter: The oil filter is usually near the top of the engine or near the oil tank. Refer to your owner's manual for the exact location.
7. Remove the Oil Filter: Use the oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the old oil filter. Be prepared for some oil to spill out, so have rags or paper towels ready.
8. Prepare the New Oil Filter: Apply a thin layer of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter to create a seal. This helps prevent leaks.
9. Screw on the New Oil Filter: Hand-tighten the new oil filter until it is snug. Do not over-tighten it, as this can damage the filter or the threads.
10. Add New Oil: Use the funnel to add the recommended amount of new oil to the motorcycle. Refer to your owner's manual for the exact amount.
11. Check the Oil Level: Use the dipstick to check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.
12. Start the Engine: Start the motorcycle and let it run for a few minutes. This circulates the new oil throughout the engine.
13. Check for Leaks: Look under the motorcycle for any signs of oil leaks. Make sure the oil drain plug and the oil filter are properly tightened.
14. Dispose of the Old Oil and Filter: Dispose of the old oil and the used oil filter properly. Follow local regulations for disposal.
