* Distributor Cap and Rotor: The distributor cap and rotor are responsible for distributing the ignition spark to the correct cylinders. If either of these components is damaged or misaligned, it can cause the engine to lose its spark. Inspect the distributor cap and rotor for any cracks or damage and replace them if necessary. Also, ensure that the rotor is correctly aligned with the distributor points.
* Ignition Control Module: The ignition control module (ICM) is responsible for controlling the ignition coil and managing spark distribution. If the ICM fails, the coil will not fire, and the engine will not start. To test the ICM, use a spark tester to check for voltage to the coil wires. If no voltage is present, replace the ICM.
* Fuel Pump Relay: The fuel pump relay is responsible for providing power to the fuel pump. If the relay fails, the pump will not work, and the engine will not receive fuel. To test the fuel pump relay, use a multimeter to check for voltage to the relay's output terminals. If no voltage is present, replace the relay.
