1. Locate the starter. It is located on the back of the engine near the transmission.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the power wire from the starter.
4. Remove the two bolts that hold the starter in place.
5. Remove the starter from the engine.
Step 2: Install the new starter
1. Place the new starter in position on the engine.
2. Install the two bolts that hold the starter in place.
3. Connect the power wire to the starter.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
Step 3: Test the new starter
1. Start the car and let it run for a few minutes.
2. Listen for any unusual noises or vibrations.
3. If everything sounds and feels okay, take the car for a drive to make sure the starter is working properly.
