1. Wire strippers
2. A Phillips-head screwdriver
3. A flathead screwdriver
4. A 10 amp fuse
5. A cigarette lighter socket
Instructions:
1. Turn off the engine and disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the center console trim by prying it off with a flathead screwdriver.
3. Locate the wiring harness for the cigarette lighter. It is usually located behind the center console.
4. Connect the red wire from the cigarette lighter socket to the red wire in the wiring harness.
5. Connect the black wire from the cigarette lighter socket to the black wire in the wiring harness.
6. Connect the yellow wire from the cigarette lighter socket to the yellow wire in the wiring harness.
7. Insert the fuse into the fuse holder on the back of the cigarette lighter socket.
8. Reinstall the center console trim.
9. Connect the battery and turn on the engine. The cigarette lighter should now be working.
