- Fuse: Check the fuse that supplies power to the fuel pump. If blown, replace it.
- Relay: Check the relay that controls the fuel pump. If faulty, replace it.
- Wiring: Check the wiring between the fuse box, the relay, and the fuel pump. Make sure there are no loose connections or breaks in the wires.
- Fuel Pump: The fuel pump itself may have failed. To check this, you can try to apply power directly to the fuel pump and see if it runs. If it does not run, the fuel pump is likely faulty and will need to be replaced.
- Fuel Pump Driver Module: Some Peugeot 106 models have a fuel pump driver module that controls the power supply to the fuel pump. If this module is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
- Engine Control Module (ECM): In some cases the engine control module can cut power too the fuel pump. Checking codes and data on a live data capable scan tool can rule this out.
