1. Locate the fuel door release lever. It is usually located in the trunk, near the spare tire.
2. Pull the lever to release the fuel door. The fuel door should pop open.
3. If the fuel door does not pop open, you may need to use a screwdriver or other thin object to pry it open. Be careful not to damage the paint on the car.
4. Once the fuel door is open, you can refuel your car.
5. When you are finished refueling, close the fuel door and push the lever to lock it.
Here is an additional tip:
- If the fuel door release lever is broken or missing, you may be able to open the fuel door by pulling on the emergency release cable. The emergency release cable is usually located near the fuel filler neck.
