Where is the release for gas tank on a mercedes-benz 300e?

On the left (driver) side, behind the rear wheel on the trunk floor. Look for the small black door to access the gas cap release lever. Once you find it, release it and then open the trunk. The gas tank release lever is located on the right (passenger) side of the trunk. Pull the lever to open the gas tank door.
