Why would exhaust gas come out of your carburetor?

Exhaust gas should never come out of your carburetor. If this is happening, it means that there is a problem with your engine and you should stop driving immediately and have it checked by a qualified mechanic.

There are a few possible reasons why exhaust gas might be coming out of your carburetor:

* A blown head gasket. This is the most likely cause of exhaust gas in the carburetor. A blown head gasket allows exhaust gases to leak into the engine's coolant system, which can then be forced out of the carburetor.

* A cracked cylinder head. A cracked cylinder head can also allow exhaust gases to leak into the engine's coolant system.

* A damaged exhaust manifold. A damaged exhaust manifold can allow exhaust gases to leak out of the engine and into the carburetor.

In any case, exhaust gas in the carburetor is a serious problem that should not be ignored. If you notice this problem, stop driving immediately and have your car towed to a qualified mechanic.
