1. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in the diagram below, to a torque of 20 Nm (15 ft-lbs).
2. Tighten the bolts again in the same sequence, to a torque of 40 Nm (30 ft-lbs).
3. Finally, tighten the bolts again in the same sequence, to a torque of 60 Nm (44 ft-lbs).

Note: It is important to follow the correct tightening sequence and torque specifications in order to ensure proper sealing of the head gasket and to prevent damage to the engine.
