1. Pull off the small trim panel by the side of the steering column/hood release; a screwdriver is needed to pry the panel free. Remove the T30 screw behind it.
2. Pull off the lower dash trim which surrounds the fuses under the steering wheel; three more T30 screws hold this on.
3. Locate the “Power Outlet” on the fuse diagram sheet (10 amp) and use the key to pull out the blown fuse.
4. Replace the fuse, reinstall everything removed, and you’re done.
Fuse Description:
This fuse box is located under the steering column at the driver's left knee level below the hood release lever. The fusebox cover has a diagram, and the tools for extracting the fuses may be clipped to its underside. Fuse 28 supplies switched power for the cigarette lighter.
