1. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir. In the Mercedes Benz ML350, it's usually a transparent plastic container with a black cap located in the engine bay, near the firewall.
2. Clean the area around the reservoir cap to prevent any dirt or debris from entering the system.
3. Remove the reservoir cap by turning it counterclockwise. Be careful not to spill any fluid.
4. Check the fluid level. The fluid level should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks indicated on the reservoir.
5. If the fluid level is low, add enough power steering fluid to bring it up to the proper level. Use only the type of power steering fluid recommended by the manufacturer.
6. Replace the reservoir cap by turning it clockwise until it's snug.
7. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the new fluid.
8. Check for any leaks around the power steering system. If you notice any leaks, have them repaired immediately.
