1. Remove the trim panel by gently prying it off with a flat-head screwdriver.
2. Locate the relay, which is a small black box with a green connector.
3. Disconnect the connector from the relay.
4. Remove the relay by gently pulling it out of its socket.
To test the relay, you can use a multimeter to check for continuity between the terminals. If there is no continuity, the relay is faulty and will need to be replaced.
