1) The engine code can be found on the front timing cover of most vehicles. It is near the top of the engine, typically on the driver's side between the crankshaft pulley and the coolant pump.
2) The engine code is stamped into the cylinder block below the cylinder head. This can also be stamped into the intake manifold.
3) The vehicle engine code is also printed on a sticker found inside of your vehicle. This sticker is usually located in one of the following locations:
- Inside of the driver's door jamb.
- Inside the glove box.
- In the trunk of the vehicle.
- Under the hood on the radiator support.
4) The engine code can also be found in the vehicle documentation, such as the owner's manual, maintenance history, or warranty information.
