How do you effectively drain the radiator on a Renault Clio where only visible plug is at top?

Draining the radiator on a Renault Clio where only a visible plug is at the top can be done by following these steps:

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and allow the engine to cool down completely.

2. Open the radiator cap to relieve any residual pressure in the cooling system. (If the engine is still hot, NEVER ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE RADIATOR CAP).

3. Locate the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator. On some Clio models, the drain plug is not visible and may be hidden by a plastic underbody shield. If this is the case, you may need to remove the shield to access the drain plug.

4. Place a drain pan under the radiator to catch the coolant.

5. Use a wrench to loosen the drain plug and allow the coolant to drain completely.

6. Once the coolant has stopped draining, close the drain plug and replace the radiator cap.

7. Refill the radiator with the appropriate type of coolant as per the owner's manual.
