* Spark plug socket wrench
* Ratchet
* Spark plug gapping tool
* New spark plugs (NGK BKR5EIX-11 or equivalent)
Instructions:
1. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
2. Remove the engine cover by unlatching the two clips in the front and lifting it off.
3. Remove the ignition coils. To do this, press down the latch on the top of each coil and pull it upwards to remove it from the spark plug. Repeat this for all four coils.
4. Use a spark plug socket wrench to loosen and remove the old spark plugs. Be careful not to drop the spark plugs into the engine.
5. Gap the new spark plugs to .040-.044 inches (1.0-1.1 mm).
6. Install the new spark plugs by hand, then tighten them with the spark plug socket wrench.
7. Reinstall the ignition coils by pressing them down onto the spark plugs until you hear a click.
8. Reinstall the engine cover.
