1. Park the tractor on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Lower the loader arms (if equipped) to the ground.
3. Locate the fluid sight plug and dipstick on the side of the transmission case.
>• The fluid sight plug is located above the transmission filter.
>• The dipstick is located next to the fluid sight plug.
4. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the fluid sight plug.
5. Insert the dipstick into the transmission case until it touches the bottom.
>• The fluid level should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the dipstick.
6. If the fluid level is low, add gear oil of the specified type until the fluid level reaches the "FULL" mark on the dipstick.
>• The transmission takes approximately 10.5 US quarts (10 liters) of gear oil.
7. Reinstall the dipstick and fluid sight plug.
