How do you take off the starter of a 1999 dodge 2500 diesel?

To remove the starter from a 1999 Dodge 2500 diesel, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the battery's negative terminal. This will prevent any electrical shock while you work.

2. Locate the starter. It is found on the driver's side of the engine, near the bottom.

3. Remove the two bolts that hold the starter in place. These bolts are located on the back of the starter.

4. Once the bolts are removed, you can pull the starter straight out of the engine.

5. Disconnect the electrical connections from the starter. There are two electrical connections. Disconnect the small wire first, then remove the larger one.

6. Remove the starter from the truck.
