Make sure the parking brake is engaged.
2. Position a drip pan under the engine oil pan.
The oil drain plug is located on the bottom of the oil pan.
3. Loosen the oil plug using a wrench.
Place a drain pan under the plug to catch the oil.
4. Once the oil has drained out, replace the plug and tighten it securely.
5. Remove the oil filter.
The oil filter is located near the top of the engine. Use an oil filter wrench to loosen the filter and remove it.
6. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
Screw the new oil filter into place until it is snug.
7. Add new oil to the engine.
Use the dipstick to check the oil level and add oil as needed.
8. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
Check for any leaks and make sure the oil level is correct.
