1. Disconnect the fuel lines and drain the fuel from the engine.
2. Remove the valve covers.
3. Remove the rocker arms and push rods.
4. Remove the camshaft gear cover.
5. Remove the bolt holding the camshaft gear to the camshaft.
6. Use a gear puller to remove the camshaft gear from the camshaft.
Be sure to keep all of the parts organized so that you can reassemble the engine correctly.
