Do commercial jetliners put the engine in reverse upon landing?

Commercial jetliners do not put their engines into reverse upon landing. While aircraft engines do have a reverse thrust feature, it is not used during normal landings. Reverse thrust is primarily utilized for slowing down an aircraft during taxiing or to assist in stopping on the runway after landing.
