How Shift gear RPM 13 speed eaton fuller transmission?

Step 1: Preparing to Shift

1. Push in the clutch pedal. This will disconnect the engine from the transmission, allowing you to shift gears smoothly.

2. Release the accelerator pedal. This will reduce the engine speed and make it easier to shift gears.

Step 2: Shifting Gears

1. Move the gearshift lever into the desired gear. The gearshift pattern for a 13-speed Eaton Fuller transmission is as follows:

* 1st gear: all the way to the left, up

* 2nd gear: down one, to the left

* 3rd gear: all the way to the left, down

* 4th gear: down one, to the right

* 5th gear: all the way to the right, up

* 6th gear: down one, to the right

* 7th gear: all the way to the right, down

* 8th gear: up one, to the right

* 9th gear: all the way to the right, down

* 10th gear: down one, to the right

* 11th gear: all the way to the right, up

* 12th gear: down one, to the right

* 13th gear: all the way to the right, down

>Note: There is a splitter button located on the shift knob that allows you to split gears 7-13. To split a gear, push in the splitter button while shifting into the desired gear.

2. Release the gearshift lever. The transmission will now be in the selected gear.

Step 3: Accelerating in Gear

1. Gently press on the accelerator pedal. The engine will start to accelerate and the truck will begin to move.

2. Shift into the next higher gear as needed. As the truck accelerates, you will need to shift into higher gears to keep the engine from revving too high.

Shifting into a higher gear too early can cause the engine to bog down. Similarly, shifting into a higher gear too late can cause the engine to overheat. Experiment with different shift points until you find the balance that works best for you and your truck. As you gain experience, you will be able to shift gears quickly and smoothly without even thinking about it.
