1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the drain plug on the bottom of the fuel tank. The drain plug is usually a 17mm bolt.
3. Place a drip pan under the drain plug to catch the diesel fuel.
4. Use a wrench to loosen the drain plug and allow the diesel fuel to drain into the drip pan.
5. Once the fuel tank is empty, tighten the drain plug.
6. Dispose of the diesel fuel properly.
