1. Pull the release lever located in the footwell on the driver's side.
2. Go the the front of the car and locate the hood latch mechanism.
3. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the slot on the passenger side of the hood latch and rotate it counterclockwise to release the hood latch.
4. Lift the hood up and secure it with the prop rod.
