How many oxygen sensors are on a jeep 4.0 engine?

The Jeep 4.0 engine has four oxygen sensors. Two of the oxygen sensors are located in the exhaust manifolds, and the other two are located in the catalytic converters.

- The upstream oxygen sensors, located in the exhaust manifolds, monitor the air/fuel ratio before the catalytic converter.

- The downstream oxygen sensors, located after the catalytic converter monitor the efficiency of the catalytic converter.
