Self apply of the brakes are cuased by what?

There are a number of things that can cause self apply brakes. Some of these include:

- Improper adjustment: If the brakes are not adjusted properly, they may drag on the rotors or drums and cause the vehicle to slow down or come to a stop.

- Contamination: If the brake fluid or pads become contaminated with oil, grease or other substances, they may become weak or ineffective and cause the vehicle to pull to one side or experience self apply.

- Damaged or worn components: If the brake rotors, drums, pads, or shoes are damaged or worn, they may cause the brakes to self-apply.

If your vehicle is experiencing self apply, you will need to have a qualified mechanic inspect the brakes to determine the cause and correct the problem.
