Why is Water dripping underneath the passenger side dash?

Potential causes:

* Clogged A/C drain: If the drain tube for the air conditioning unit is clogged, water can back up and drip underneath the dashboard. This is especially common if you have recently had your windshield replaced, as the technician may have accidentally dislodged the drain tube.

* Leaking heater core: The heater core is a small radiator located behind the dashboard that provides heat to the cabin. If the heater core develops a leak, coolant can drip underneath the dashboard.

* Leaking water pump: The water pump is responsible for circulating coolant throughout the engine. If the water pump develops a leak, coolant can drip underneath the dashboard.

* Leaking windshield sealant: If the sealant around your windshield is damaged or cracked, water can leak into the cabin and drip underneath the dashboard.

* Poor door seal: If the seal around your passenger side door is damaged or worn, water can enter the cabin and drip underneath the dashboard.

* Damaged or cracked sunroof: If you have a sunroof, it can leak if the drain tubes are clogged, if the sunroof seal is damaged, or if the sunroof is cracked.
