1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and allow the engine to cool down. This is important to prevent burns.
2. Locate the radiator drain plug. On the 1997 Mazda Millenia, the radiator drain plug is located on the bottom of the radiator, near the driver's side. It is a plastic plug with a 12 mm head.
3. Place a drain pan under the radiator drain plug. This will catch the coolant as it drains out.
4. Use a 12 mm wrench to loosen the radiator drain plug. Allow the coolant to drain out completely.
5. Close the radiator drain plug. Once the coolant has drained out, use the 12 mm wrench to tighten the radiator drain plug.
6. Dispose of the old coolant properly. Coolant is a hazardous material and should be disposed of according to local regulations.
Note: If you are flushing the radiator, you may need to repeat steps 3-6 several times until the water runs clear.
