- A screwdriver
- A hammer
- A drill
- A set of lock picks
1. Remove the steering wheel.
- Disconnect the battery.
- Remove the airbag.
- Remove the steering wheel.
2. Drill out the broken key.
- Use a drill to drill a hole into the broken key.
- Be careful not to damage the ignition barrel.
3. Use the lock picks to turn the ignition barrel.
- Insert the lock picks into the ignition barrel.
- Turn the lock picks to the "ON" position.
4. Remove the ignition barrel.
- Use the screwdriver and hammer to remove the ignition barrel.
5. Install a new ignition barrel.
- Insert the new ignition barrel into the steering column.
- Turn the ignition barrel to the "OFF" position.
- Install the steering wheel.
- Connect the battery.
