1. Open the front door on the side where you want to remove the kick panel.
2. Locate the two screws that hold the kick panel in place. The screws are located near the top of the panel, one on each side.
3. Unscrew the screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Once the screws are removed, pry the kick panel from the door sill by inserting a flat-head screwdriver or other prying tool into the seam between the panel and the door sill. Pry upwards using moderate force until the clips release.
5. Carefully pull the kick panel toward you to remove it completely.
Be careful not to damage the panel or the door trim when removing the kick panel.
To reinstall the kick panel, simply reverse the steps listed above. Be sure to align the kick panel properly with the door sill before inserting the screws. Tighten the screws securely.
