To replace the crankshaft position sensor, you will need the following tools:
- A ratchet
- A socket wrench
- A 10mm socket
- A flat-head screwdriver
- A new crankshaft position sensor
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Locate the crankshaft position sensor.
3. Remove the bolt that holds the sensor in place.
4. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the sensor out of the engine block.
5. Discard the old sensor.
6. Install the new sensor by inserting it into the engine block.
7. Secure the sensor in place with the bolt.
8. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
