2. Disconnect the fuel lines. Use a wrench to loosen the nuts that hold the fuel lines in place. Be careful not to spill any gasoline.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector. There will be an electrical connector attached to the fuel pump. Disconnect this connector by pressing down on the release tab and pulling it straight out.
4. Remove the fuel pump. Once the fuel lines and electrical connector are disconnected, you can remove the fuel pump by unscrewing the bolts that hold it in place.
5. Turn off the electrical switch that powers the fuel pump.
