1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the steering wheel.
3. Remove the instrument cluster.
4. Remove the radio.
5. Remove the center console.
6. Remove the glove box.
7. Remove the screws that hold the dashboard in place.
8. Carefully remove the dashboard.
Step 2: Locate the heater core.
The heater core is located behind the passenger side dash panel.
Step 3: Remove the heater core hoses.
1. Disconnect the heater core hoses from the heater core.
2. Drain the coolant from the heater core.
Step 4: Remove the heater core.
1. Remove the screws that hold the heater core in place.
2. Carefully remove the heater core.
Step 5: Install the new heater core.
1. Place the new heater core in position.
2. Install the screws that hold the heater core in place.
3. Connect the heater core hoses to the heater core.
Step 6: Reinstall the dashboard.
1. Carefully reinstall the dashboard.
2. Install the screws that hold the dashboard in place.
3. Reinstall the glove box.
4. Reinstall the center console.
5. Reinstall the radio.
6. Reinstall the instrument cluster.
7. Reinstall the steering wheel.
8. Connect the battery.
Step 7: Top up and bleed the coolant system
1. Make sure the heater is turned on to high.
2. Fill the coolant reservoir to the cold full line.
3. Pressurize the cooling system by squeezing the upper radiator hose.
4. Wait for any air bubbles to evacuate.
5. Top up the coolant reservoir if needed.
6. Wait for the engine to reach normal operating temperature.
7. Turn the heater off and on a few times to make sure the hot water is flowing through the heater core.
