1. Turn off the engine and allow the car to cool down.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. This is important to prevent any electrical shorts while you're working.
3. Remove the trim panel around the gear shift. There are four screws that hold this panel in place.
4. Remove the four screws that hold the stereo dash panel in place. These screws are located at the top and bottom of the panel.
5. Gently pry the stereo dash panel off of the dashboard. Be careful not to damage any of the wiring or connectors.
6. Disconnect the wiring and connectors from the stereo dash panel.
7. Remove the stereo dash panel from the car.
To reinstall the stereo dash panel, follow these steps in reverse order.
