1. Gather the necessary tools and parts. You will need:
- A Phillips head screwdriver
- A flat head screwdriver
- A pair of pliers
- A new heater blend door
2. Prepare your vehicle.
- Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Locate the heater blend door actuator. It is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, behind the glove box.
4. Remove the glove box. There are four screws that hold it in place.
5. Locate the blend door actuator arm. It is attached to the heater blend door.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blend door actuator.
7. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws holding the blend door actuator in place.
8. Remove the old blend door actuator and remove the broken blend door.
9. Install the new heater blend door.
10. Reinstall the blend door actuator arm and secure it with the screws.
11. Reconnect the electrical connector to the blend door actuator.
12. Reinstall the glove box.
13. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
14. Start the engine and test the heater blend door.
