1. Gather the tools and materials you'll need:
- New wheel bearing
- Socket set
- Jack and jack stands
- Wheel chocks
- Pry bar
- Hammer
2. Park your car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
3. Place a jack under the front end of your car and raise it until the tire that you'll be working on is raised off the ground.
4. Remove the lug nuts and take off the tire.
5. Use a pry bar to pry the old wheel bearing out of the hub.
6. Clean the hub and the area around it.
7. Apply some grease to the new bearing and press it into the hub.
8. Replace the lug nuts and lower the car until the tire is on the ground.
9. Tighten the lug nuts and remove the wheel chocks.
10. Test drive your car and listen for any unusual noises.
