1. Gather the necessary tools and materials. You will need:
- A new fuel pump
- A fuel pump removal tool
- A fuel line wrench

2. Prepare the vehicle. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Relieve the fuel system pressure by pressing the Schrader valve on the fuel injection rail.
