Where is the crank sensor located on a Saturn SL?

The crank sensor on a Saturn SL is located on the front of the engine block, below the distributor. It is a cylindrical sensor with a pigtail connector. The sensor is held in place by a single bolt.

To remove the crank sensor, you will need to:

Disconnect the pigtail connector.

Remove the bolt that holds the sensor in place.

Pull the sensor straight out of the engine block.

Be careful not to damage the sensor or the pigtail connector when removing it.
