Instructions
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Jack up the car and support it on jack stands.
3. Locate the starter. It is located on the passenger side of the engine, near the bottom.
4. Disconnect the electrical connections from the starter.
5. Remove the bolts that hold the starter in place.
6. Remove the starter from the car.
7. Install the new starter.
8. Reverse the steps to reconnect the electrical connections and reinstall the battery.
Tips
* Before replacing the starter, be sure to test it to make sure that it is the source of the problem. Use a jumper cable to connect battery to the starter positive terminal. It should turn over. Replace it if it does not.
* Be careful not to drop the starter when removing it from the car. It is heavy.
* If you are uncomfortable working on your car, have the starter replaced by a mechanic.
